The Art of Delegation

On October 17, “The Art of Delegation” will be hosted by speaker, consultant, facilitator and author Gerry Hall from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Phy 150. All University of Waterloo students are invited to attend the thoughtful, entertaining, and informative presentation that will help them become better leaders and communicators.

Hall has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development. He is noted for his ability to create powerful learning environments that help people shift from the “alright” to “extraordinary.” During The Art of Delegation, he will help students examine their ability to motivate and develop others. Students will learn how to hone their skills to delegate to others more effectively in work and academic situations.

They will also be able to do the following:

•Learn eight important ingredients of effective delegation; and

•To practice effective delegation.
