Student Life Centre
On February 4, 2013 the Federation of Students assumed full management control of the Student Life Centre.
Since 1967, the Student Life Centre has existed on the University of Waterloo campus as the main hub of student life. It is open 24 hours a day, and 365 days a year.
The Student Life Centre is where the Federation of Students’ offices are located. Other operations launched and operated by the Federation of Students that are located in the Student Life Centre include:
- Campus Bubble
- International News
- Feds Used Books
- The Bombshelter Pub
- The six Feds student services: Campus Response Team, Feds Food Bank, The Glow Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity, Off Campus Community, Sustainable Campus Initiative, The Women’s Centre.
- The Turnkey Desk, which provides students with tickets for the Fed Bus, public transit, local movie theatres and more.
- Information is available on The Bike Centre, Leasing Businesses, and Shuttle Service.
The Student Life Centre Great Hall is where many events by the Federation of Students and the University of Waterloo are held. Past events by the Federation of Students include: Clubs and Societies’ Days and the Arts Symposium.
The building also includes many study rooms, lounges, piano rooms and prayer rooms.
